Doctor Queen: warm water helps reduce appetite and improves gastrointestinal function

Therapist and nutritionist Margarita Koroleva advised drinking warm water to curb excessive appetite.

Doctor Koroleva advised Russians to monitor whether they drink enough water. According to the specialist, when a person drinks too little fluid, he begins to eat more often during the day – this is fraught with an excess of calories and weight gain.

“Sometimes a person wants to have an untimely snack, despite the fact that he has already eaten more than once. This is due to the fact that we simply do not drink water and the feeling of thirst is passed off as hunger, since the centers of thirst and satiety in the structures of the brain are nearby,” Margarita Koroleva explained to Moscow 24.
During the cold season, the doctor recommends drinking warm water, which effectively helps reduce appetite, which invariably increases in autumn and winter. In addition, warm water helps improve the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract and bile ducts, which has a positive effect on digestion and metabolic processes in the body.

Another type of drinks that help reduce appetite in winter are vegetable smoothies (cocktails made from ground vegetables and herbs) . When consuming them, the body receives, in addition to liquid, nutrients: vitamins, microelements. This prevents the development of acute hunger, and also helps against cravings for sweets.

Earlier, the MedikForum.ru portal wrote that giving up certain foods helps avoid early or intense aging.
