Doctor Alexander Myasnikov: to maintain slimness and health, the quality of food is more important than counting calories.

Doctor Myasnikov explained how to lose weight without counting calories. A well-known Russian physician is convinced that this is facilitated by a proper diet consisting of natural products.

The doctor noted that many people, in an attempt to become slimmer, meticulously study food packaging for the content of fats or carbohydrates and their energy value. Speaking about this, Myasnikov emphasized: such calculations make little sense if processed foods are consumed.

“Overly processed products include ready-made minced meat, pastry dough, sausages, industrially produced vegetable caviar, canned food, sausages, chicken nuggets, milk with additives (chocolate, strawberry and other flavors), flavored yoghurts,” the expert listed.
Myasnikov added that even many so-called healthy processed foods will not help you become slimmer and achieve good health. He emphasized: it is not what a person eats that is important, but how it is absorbed. According to the specialist, the body cannot get the amount of protein, valuable fatty acids, vitamins, and microelements it needs from industrially produced products.

“All sorts of “correct” bars and yoghurts will enter the stomach, but due to the lack of fiber and structure they will not be absorbed. You need to eat vegetables, fruits, natural dairy products, fish, chicken, legumes, whole grain products in a minimally processed form,” the doctor advised.
He also recommended eating in moderation and moving enough.
