Doctor Margarita Koroleva: during a cold you should refrain from eating dairy and sweet products.

Doctor Koroleva told what foods can interfere with recovery or make a person's condition worse when they have a cold. Speaking about this, the Queen advised not to eat dairy products, since they can make it difficult for the body to fight inflammation.

“During illness, all dairy products are removed from the diet, even if a person tolerates them well. This category of products can support inflammatory processes in the body,” the expert told Moscow 24.
The specialist also listed other groups of foods that are best not to eat when you have a cold: all fatty foods, fried foods, spicy foods, and sweet foods. Such food can negatively affect the body’s absorption of drugs, take away resources for its digestion, and irritate the mucous membranes. For the body, already weakened by the fight against infection, the listed products will only become an “additional problem.” As a result, the infectious load will increase, which is fraught with deterioration of the condition and the development of dangerous complications.

Earlier, the MedikForum.ru portal wrote that therapist and nutritionist Natalya Pavlyuk named the three most beneficial cereals for the body.
