This November will be a real test for people dependent on weather conditions. According to experts, we will face a series of geomagnetic storms of varying strengths. Elderly people and those suffering from chronic diseases may experience poor health, depression, and blood pressure surges.

How do magnetic storms affect humans?

People suffering from cardiovascular diseases fall into a special risk group, since the impact of magnetic storms affects blood circulation. Most often they end up in the hospital with myocardial infarction, cerebral vascular damage, heart pain and tachycardia.

As nutritionist Lyudmila Denisenko said, not only blood vessels react to magnetic storms, but also the adrenal glands.

—They release adrenaline, a stress hormone, into the blood in large quantities, which causes irritability to increase, performance to decrease, attention to deteriorate, chills and digestive problems to appear, — she noted.

The doctor recommends taking care of your body in advance. She gave some advice regarding nutrition.

Eat small meals every 3-4 hours. If the stomach is full, it is harder for the heart to work, and there may be pressure surges.

Remove fatty and fried foods from the diet. The pancreas and gall bladder already have to “work more” due to the release of blood cortisol and adrenaline.

Avoid strong coffee. It is better to choose herbal teas. You can afford one cup of quality coffee in the morning.

Don't forget about vitamins. Vitamin C (for blood vessels), D3 (for immunity), Omega-3 (for the brain,) group B (for nerves) are especially important.

Choose foods rich in vitamins A, C and P. We are talking about bell pepper, rose hips, black currants, citrus fruits, sea buckthorn, carrots, beef liver, butter, eggs, caviar. Vegetables and fruits are best eaten raw.

Avoid alcohol.

Take care of your sleep, you can take a mild herbal sleeping pill.
