Therapist Olga Chirkova told what foods should not be in the diet of people with gastritis.

In case of gastritis, the gastric mucosa becomes inflamed, which can disrupt its functions. Therapist Chirkova said that some foods are contraindicated regardless of what type of gastritis the patient has (with high or low acidity) – in any case

“it is forbidden to eat spicy, smoked, pickled and fried foods , onions and garlic, raw vegetables, foods that are too hot or too cold.”
Also, the therapist Chirkova noted that with gastritis, you should not eat soft pastries, drink coffee. Other harmful drinks are alcohol and sugary soda. In addition, people with gastritis should be excluded from the diet of ice cream and chocolate. Another potentially dangerous dish for them is broths.

Endocrinologist Pavlova listed foods that should not be eaten for breakfast

“If the acidity is not lowered, you can’t have strong meat, fish and mushroom broths,” – clarified the doctor Chirkova in a comment for NEWS.ru.
The doctor emphasized that for gastritis, the best food for eating is sparing the gastrointestinal tract – without spices and concentrated taste, not containing a lot of fat and fiber, delicately thermally cooked. The specialist advised in case of this disease to refuse raw vegetables. White cabbage, mushrooms, berries and fruits with sourness – all this becomes banned.
