Nutritionist, technologist Marina Kostyuchenko: bread is rich in B vitamins, magnesium and iron.

Nutritionist Kostyuchenko said that bread is a product that should be present in the daily diet as a source of a number of useful nutrients, vitamins and microelements, as well as fiber, which stimulates the development of positive intestinal microflora. In addition, it provides the body with protein. The expert noted: there are no diseases that would require the exclusion of bread from the daily menu.

“In the Recommendation of the Ministry of Health for therapeutic nutrition on nutrition there is such a wording as “a significant norm of bread.” So, this is 150 grams of rye and 150 grams of wheat bread per day,” KP quotes her as saying.
Marina Kostyuchenko stated that bread is high in B vitamins and also contains vitamin E, magnesium, calcium, and iron. Separately, the expert noted the benefits of rye bread. This product contains selenium, a rare antioxidant, which the thyroid gland especially needs.

“100 grams of rye bread contain 30–35 mg of selenium, 50 percent of the daily value,” the specialist specified.
Kostyuchenko I noticed that even a sliced ​​wheat loaf is not useless or harmful, since it contains fiber necessary for normal digestion. But what should really be limited is the consumption of baked goods that contain a lot of sugar and fat. Bread, compared to buns and other baked goods, contains significantly less fat and sugar due to its recipe. Accordingly, it has less calories.
