Doctor Andrey Tyazhelnikov: in case of exacerbation of chronic diseases, you should not eat kebab.

Kebabs are a traditional dish of the May weekend, but not everyone can eat them, but Doctor Tyazhelnikov told RIA Novosti about this.

The doctor explained when shish kebab should be eaten with caution.

“You need to be careful with meat cooked over fire, people with chronic gastrointestinal diseases, urolithiasis, gout or a combination of these diseases, elderly people,” the specialist specified.
Tyazhelnikov also drew attention to cases when shish kebab is not you should eat at all:

  • Acute gastrointestinal diseases;
  • Exacerbations of chronic diseases.

In addition, the doctor advised not to give charcoal fried meat for children.

Tyazhelnikov added that kebabs are a heavy food – if such meat is eaten in large quantities, it becomes a serious test even for healthy digestion (therefore, on a picnic with kebabs it would be a good idea to take enzyme preparations with you).
We should not forget about that that eating fried meat increases the carcinogenic load on the body.

“When preparing shish kebab, you need to avoid strong flames, which burn the meat and form a black carcinogenic crust,” the expert concluded.
The MedikForum.ru portal previously wrote about how much lard you can eat every day.
