Dietitian Elena Solomatina: eating apples may be contraindicated in case of diabetes, allergies and chronic gastrointestinal disorders.

Doctor Solomatina explained that apples should not be included in the diet of people with various diseases. In particular, sweet fruits are contraindicated for diabetics, people with impaired carbohydrate metabolism and excess weight. Sour – for those who have problems with the digestive tract.

“Sour is not recommended for diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. Especially everything related to ulcers, gastritis with high acidity, pancreatitis and so on, because the acid will be irritating,” the doctor noted in a comment to Moscow 24.
Solomatina added that even healthy people may feel some discomfort and bloating after eating apples. This effect is caused by the action of apple fiber in the form of pectins. In cases where there are some problems with the intestines, pectins entering it can cause especially unpleasant, even painful sensations.

“In addition, people often have an undesirable reaction to red apples,” the specialist warned .
Earlier, the MedikForum.ru portal wrote that when a person eats a large amount of food at one time, his heart may suffer.
