Eggs and Easter cakes are a traditional Easter treat, but if you have some health problems, you should not eat them, said endocrinologist Elizaveta Kardapoltseva.

Doctor Kardapoltseva informed that people with a diseased liver need to strictly control the presence of such a product as eggs in their diet. Their daily use is allowed only if the human liver is healthy, since in this case the organ helps the body to process fat efficiently and maintain a normal level of lipids in the blood. A weak liver cannot cope with such a task.

“People with liver diseases should stop eating eggs for Easter,” said Elizaveta Kardapoltseva in a comment to Gazeta.Ru.
Commenting on the use of another Easter treat – Easter cake – the doctor recalled that it contains a high concentration of fast carbohydrates, which are absorbed by the body in a short time and contribute to a sharp increase in blood sugar levels, as well as more active fat deposition in the body. Thus, the expert stated, those who are diabetic, overweight, obese should refuse to eat Easter cakes. In addition, sweet rich pastries (especially very fresh ones) are not safe to use for people with vascular problems, gastrointestinal tract.

Not one or two: how many Easter eggs can you eat in a day?

“Baking contains sugar and increases its level in the blood – this can provoke vascular complications. It is also worth giving up Easter cakes for people with chronic diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, ”the endocrinologist said.
Earlier, the MedikForum.ru portal wrote about how many eggs (maximum) you can eat on Easter.
