According to gastroenterologist Valeria Antyufeyeva, existing health problems may require restrictions in the use of such a drink as tea.

Doctor Antyufeyeva said “Gazeta.Ru”:

“For a number of diseases, tea consumption should be limited.”
Explaining what health problems you need to drink less tea for, the doctor clarified: this should be done if you have iron deficiency anemia or low hemoglobin levels. Valeria Antyufeeva noted that tea is saturated with tannins and tannins, which can combine with iron that enters the body along with foods. As a result, the necessary absorption of iron, an essential microelement necessary for many processes, does not occur, including hematopoiesis and the provision of internal organs with oxygen.

“If a person has latent iron deficiency or iron deficiency anemia, he can drink no more than three cups of tea per day,” the specialist shared.
Antyufeyeva added that tea also contains caffeine, which has the property of stimulating the activity of the nervous system. People with an active psyche, who react sharply to stressful events, and who are prone to anxiety-depressive disorder, need to drink less tea, the expert emphasized.

Another problem that requires limiting tea intake is functional dyspepsia. People with this disorder may experience bouts of nausea and stomach pain after drinking tea (especially when drinking tea on an empty stomach). They are advised not only to drink less tea, but also to soften the effect of the drink: for example, by adding milk, or drinking it only after meals.

The MedikForum.ru portal previously wrote that doctors advise stricter control over the consumption of chicken meat .
