Experts from the Rospotrebnadzor department in the Krasnoyarsk Territory: you can take a cool shower in extreme heat several times a day.

Rospotrebnadzor representatives gave advice on how to save yourself from extreme heat. In particular, they noted that during such a period it is necessary to reduce daytime time outside and stay indoors from 11:00 to 17:00.

It is also necessary to drink enough water, drinking frequently and in small portions throughout the day. In very hot weather, which provokes profuse sweating, the electrolyte balance in the body can be disrupted, because along with moisture it loses trace elements and minerals. Therefore, in the heat, it is necessary to drink drinks enriched with vitamins and minerals: they will allow the body to replenish its losses in the heat. For example, mineral water, water with pieces of vegetables and vegetable juices or brine, tomato juice, fermented milk drinks are suitable.

It is better to avoid drinking alcoholic beverages and sweet-tasting carbonated drinks, as well as packaged juices with sugar – such drinks increase the risk of blood thickening and blood clots, which occurs due to the effect of extreme heat on the circulatory system and blood vessels.

“Don’t forget to cool yourself and humidify the air in the room using air conditioners, fans and humidifiers. “Take a cool shower several times a day,” the experts added.
They advised including fruits, vegetables, boiled fish, chicken, and cold soups in your daily diet.

Another piece of advice from experts: in the heat, you need to minimize any physical activity; the body needs more rest during such a difficult period.

Earlier, the MedikForum.ru portal wrote that the heat creates additional stress on the heart and can be especially dangerous for certain groups of people.
