“Panic attacks are one of the most common side effects after coronavirus. Now more than 37% of patients experience neurological disorders precisely after suffering a coronavirus infection,” the psychiatrist said.
Speaking about how this condition manifests itself, the physician clarified that a person may experience sudden severe anxiety, fear, panic, fear of suffocation or death. Physiologically, panic attacks are manifested by heart palpitations, tremors, shortness of breath with a feeling of lack of air.
