Oncologist Cheryomushkin warned that addiction to salty foods food has a certain effect on the occurrence of cancer, so your daily diet should contain as little pickles and other foods rich in salt as possible. In addition, fatty foods and smoked snacks should be strictly limited. According to Cheryomushkin, the diet should first of all be rich in greens, vegetables, and healthy oils.

“I recommend reducing the consumption of smoked meats, fatty and salty foods. Abuse of such products indirectly affects problems with chronic diseases, which in turn can cause cancer,” the oncologist said in a comment to NEWS.ru.
In addition to the addiction to salty foods, the appearance of cancer is influenced by an excess of sugar. Cheryomushkin noted that excess glucose can be a source of energy that accelerates the growth of malignant cells.

“Excess sugar also leads to the development of cancer,” the expert said.
The oncologist added that another dangerous habit is frequent consumption of canned food. According to Evgeny Cheryomushkin, chemicals used for preservatives can have a negative effect on cells, contributing to the formation of tumors.

In addition, the doctor recommended stopping drinking alcohol and smoking – this can significantly reduce the risk of cancer.
