Another alarming signal, according to expert, is the decreasing time between drinks. For example, a person who drank on holidays starts drinking on weekends or to relieve stress.

“A person is looking for a reason to drink and seeks to involve other people in it,” Polikarpov noted.
The narcologist added that people underestimate the toxicity of alcohol, not seeing harm in small portions or weak drinks. Meanwhile, any amount of alcohol can be toxic to the body. Vrak stated that a safe dose of alcohol is a myth, there is no such thing. Drinking almost any amount of alcohol can affect the formation of addiction, it all depends on the characteristics of the body.
