Biochemist Kuleshova: you should not use tap water for cooking because of chlorine

Biochemist Maria Kuleshova believes that chlorine-saturated tap water is not suitable for preparing soups and other dishes.

Biochemist Kuleshova noted in the conversation with “Gazeta.ru” that chlorine added to tap water, although it disinfects it, at the same time can be harmful to people.

“At a water treatment station it is added in such a way that after the water went through all the pipes, chlorine still remained at the outlet,” the expert shared.
According to Kuleshova, you should not use tap water for cooking because of the chlorine it contains. The biochemist stated that when boiling, chlorine evaporates from water. But there is always a risk that it will begin to interact with other substances dissolved in water and the resulting compounds will be harmful to the body.

The specialist stated that only filtered water or purchased in bottles should be used for drinking or cooking.< br>
