According to Aleksey Kuznetsov, Assistant to the Head of the Russian Ministry of Health, Sputnik V can be used both as a drug for intramuscular injections and in nasal form. These are the results of changes in existing instructions for the use of this most popular Russian drug, which were introduced back in April. It should be noted that some experts doubted not only the legal, but also the scientific validity of these changes.

They emphasized that the nasal form of Sputnik has not been tested through large-scale clinical studies to assess its safety and especially effectiveness. However, Aleksey Kuznetsov insists that both Sputnik V in the form of drops for nasal use and intramuscular injections have almost identical composition.
