As astrophysicists reported, on May 8, a high-magnitude flare occurred on the Sun. A plasma ejection is moving towards the Earth, and strong magnetic storms are possible this weekend.

According to Andrei Tyazhelnikov, a specialist in primary health care at the Moscow Department of Health, summer residents should slow down the pace of work on their sites during magnetic storms. Especially those who have cardiovascular and other chronic diseases. Elderly people are also at risk.

— First of all, it is recommended to reduce any stress: physical, emotional. It is necessary to give the body the opportunity to direct all its reserves to cope with the stress that is caused by a magnetic storm, the doctor noted.
