Speaking about signs of cancer in different organs of the gastrointestinal tract, oncologist Andrei Pylev noted: non-specific changes can be noticed first.

Oncologist Pylev said in an interview about the occurrence of cancer symptoms that are not associated with this disease.

“There are nonspecific symptoms, the so-called minor sign syndrome, characteristic of cancer. And they are the ones that appear first,” the doctor told Gazeta.Ru.
According to oncologist Pylev, the first nonspecific sign of cancer is often unmotivated weakness and apathy. In addition, appetite may disappear until an aversion to food appears, and weight begins to “fall.”

The oncologist also listed specific signs of cancer tumors in different parts of the gastrointestinal tract.

Esophageal cancer.< /b> A person complains of dysphagia – difficulty passing food when swallowing.

Stomach cancer. Soon after eating, nausea and vomiting occur, and a few hours later – pain in the stomach.

Colorectal cancer. Symptoms of obstruction or anemia occur.

Liver cancer. Jaundice appears.
