Oncologist of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation Andrey Kaprin: bad habits that increase the risk of cancer include an addiction to sweets and foods rich in spices.
Oncologist Kaprin said that to protect against cancer, you need to give up bad eating habits.
“To prevent cancer, you should limit the consumption of fatty, sweet, smoked and spicy foods,” he said in a commentary for RIA Novosti.
Kaprin added that to protect the body from cancer, you need to be exposed to open sun as little as possible. During the hours of maximum solar activity, you should avoid being outside. In addition, there is no need to visit a solarium.
The expert stated that another important condition for cancer prevention is giving up bad habits. We are talking about putting an end to smoking and alcohol abuse, physical inactivity, irregular sleep and late falling asleep.
“In addition to these rules, it is important to undergo preventive examinations and medical examinations in a timely manner,” noted Andrey Kaprin.
