Dietitian Pavel Ivakin: losing excess weight after 40 years is more difficult than at a younger age – what needs to be done for this?

Nutritionist Ivakin said that with age, the body’s metabolism decreases and regulatory capabilities change. As a result, nutritional errors lead to excess weight much faster.

But the nutritionist emphasized: successful weight loss is possible even after 40 years. Ivakin informed that he helps to lose weight at a “difficult” age. According to the specialist, the main condition for solving this problem is to avoid foods that stimulate intensive growth of adipose tissue. These are mainly processed foods, high-calorie and fried foods.

“Fast food, mayonnaise, juices and soda, added sugar, confectionery, fatty, fried foods are removed from the diet as much as possible,” he said nutritionist Pavel Ivakin.
What else helps to lose weight after 40 years?
