Dietician Mikhail Ginzburg: for some chronic health problems, you cannot eat cottage cheese.

Nutician Ginzburg said that cottage cheese cannot be considered healthy product. He warned that the popular product contains trans fats, which should be limited in the diet of almost all people.

“Curd mass usually contains a lot of sugar, as well as trans fats. This combination of ingredients, according to the doctor, negates the beneficial properties of cottage cheese,” the nutritionist noted in an interview with Sputnik radio.
According to Ginzburg, frequent consumption of fatty and sweet curd mass negatively affects the body, contributing to the occurrence of diabetes, obesity, atherosclerosis. The doctor clarified who should not eat this product at all.

“If a person is already 50-60 years old, has obesity, hypertension, then for him the curd mass is simply a harmful product. I wouldn’t recommend it for children either.”
A healthy person was advised by a nutritionist to eat curd mass in an amount of no more than two spoons.
