Nutritionist Ginsburg spoke about aging-accelerating candies

According to nutritionist Mikhail Ginzburg, the consumption of certain candies leads to the accelerated development of processes associated with aging.

Nutritionist Ginzburg reminded Russians of the potential harm of the habit of drinking tea with sweets. The expert noted that these confectionery products may contain undesirable ingredients. For example, such candies do not contain natural chocolate; manufacturers use cheaper artificial cocoa butter substitutes.

“Candies may contain a cocoa butter substitute. This is a mixture that consists of a large amount of palm oil and trans fats,” Ginzburg noted in a comment to Moscow 24.
He added that in candies, a similar mixture is combined with a large amount of sugar. The digestive organs, which will have to break down and assimilate this composition, will have a hard time; in the meantime, the body will receive a fair dose of substances harmful to it. One of the consequences of their consumption may be an increase in cholesterol levels in the blood, coupled with unfavorable vascular changes.

Nutritionist Ginzburg spoke about sweets that accelerate aging:

“Consuming sweets with a cocoa butter substitute accelerates aging. Earlier, age-related diseases occur, the same as atherosclerosis.”
Earlier, the MedikForum.ru portal wrote about how intermittent fasting can harm your health.
