Nutritionist Arzamastsev said in an interview that to maintain those qualities of the skin that contribute to its long-term youthfulness, it is important to eat enough omega-3 fatty acids. The doctor explained that these substances are involved in the processes of building cell membranes, which provide the skin with resistance to negative external factors, such as the sun.

In addition to products with omega-3, sources of vitamins help maintain youthful skin.
< br>“First of all, products that contain large amounts of omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin E will be useful for youthful skin – these are vegetable oils, avocados, fish, nuts. They have a positive effect on the condition of the skin and preserve its cellular structure,” Arzamastsev told Moskva 24.
The nutritionist also advised that in order to maintain external youthfulness, include foods rich in vitamins C and D in the diet. The expert clarified that getting the vitamin C is important for the synthesis of collagen fibers, which make the skin elastic and smooth. In turn, vitamin D improves skin protection from the influence of environmental aggressors.
