“The results suggest that eating Whole grains as part of a healthy diet are effective in helping you stay lean and not gain weight as you age, as well as keep your blood sugar and blood pressure close to normal. As a result, this gives a pronounced effect on the prevention of heart disease,” the experts stated.
According to them, unlike processed, refined grains, whole grains contain fiber, which maintains a feeling of satiety for a long time, as well as antioxidants, magnesium, potassium, positively affecting the state of blood vessels and blood pressure. Scientists advise eating two to three servings of whole grains a day. One serving is about one piece of whole grain bread, half a cup of grains.
