Cardiologist Yulia Marshintseva explained how much wine you can drink without harming your health.

Doctor Marshintseva said that dry red wine is a drink that is acceptable for consumption in moderation. The doctor also named an acceptable dose of such wine.

“If a healthy woman drinks about 100 milliliters, and a man about 200 milliliters of red wine, then it should not have a detrimental effect on the body,” the cardiologist noted in a commentary for RIA Novosti.
Marshintseva added that dry red wine has an antioxidant effect. In other words, the drink improves the transport of oxygen throughout the body, which can have a positive effect on its condition.

The doctor emphasized that the above-mentioned effect of wine manifests itself only if a person is healthy and leads a lifestyle without bad habits. People who have liver problems should not drink wine even in minimal doses, the expert stated.

Earlier, the MedikForum.ru portal wrote that cardiologist Olga Bokeria named the habits typical of the healthiest people, that is, those who do not suffer from chronic diseases.
