Infectious disease specialist Elena Strebkova warned about products that can deprive a person of a healthy liver if used incorrectly.

Chief Samara infectious disease specialist Elena Strebkova warned against too much consumption foods that can undermine liver health. In particular, these include semi-finished products.

“Frequent consumption of semi-finished products can lead to the fact that liver cells begin to be replaced by fat and the prerequisites for the development of fatty liver disease arise,” the doctor told the portal 63.ru.< br>Strebkova noted that fatty liver disease is one of the common health problems in modern adults. Doctors associate massive cases of obesity in this organ with an unhealthy lifestyle: overeating, abuse of unhealthy foods and lack of exercise.

The infectious disease specialist recalled that an increase in fat in the liver increases the risk of its inflammation, which is closely associated with the occurrence of fibrosis and cirrhosis.
“Faty liver disease occurs more often in people who are overweight. Symptoms of this disease may include moderate heaviness in the hypochondrium, nausea, vomiting, bitterness in the mouth,” the doctor shared.
Strebkova added that regularly consumed mayonnaise, fatty cheese and other fatty dairy products, processed meats, as well as high-carbohydrate foods and sugary drinks can undermine liver health.

“To maintain liver health, it is important to limit the consumption of carbonated drinks and sweets, and also fatty foods that are difficult for the body to break down,” the expert shared her advice.
The MedikForum.ru portal previously wrote about which foods create an excess of cholesterol in the body.
