Doctor Zarubina named sugar and dairy products among the foods that provoke flatulence

Doctor Zarubina warned:

Among the products that provoke flatulence, the specialist identified sugar and all foods rich in it. According to Zarubina, its ability to cause bloating is explained by its effect on the intestinal microflora.

“Sugar is a nutrient medium for fermentative intestinal microflora. Therefore, the more sugar in sweets, the higher the risk of bloating,” the doctor explained to Gazeta.Ru.
In addition, bloating can plague lovers of carbonated drinks, which contribute to the accumulation of carbon dioxide, bloating the stomach and intestines.

These are also sweets – sugar is a nutrient medium for fermentative intestinal microflora. Therefore, the more sugar in sweets, the higher the risk of bloating.

Dairy products are also among the provocateurs of flatulence. Today, a large number of people have lactose intolerance – milk sugar or hypersensitivity to other components of milk. In their case, consuming dairy products can provoke many unpleasant symptoms of impaired digestion, including flatulence.

Another cause of flatulence is excess protein. The doctor explained that its breakdown is accompanied by the active release of gases produced by intestinal bacteria.
