Endocrinologist Pavlova stated that for some citizens, ice cream is a particularly dangerous product. In particular, the delicacy is not recommended for people who are overweight, as well as for people prone to skin rashes. The most they can afford is to eat ice cream once a month.
“Ideally, it would be better for everyone to give up ice cream,” the endocrinologist said on the Telegram channel.
Pavlova explained why it is better to completely abandon ice cream – this product is too poor in beneficial nutrients, vitamins and minerals, but also contains too much sugar and calories.
“The small amount of protein and calcium found in milk , which is used to make ice cream, is actually leveled out by a large amount of sugar and fat,” the specialist said.
The expert added that eating treats provokes a serious jump in blood sugar and insulin (especially if eaten on an empty stomach). If you allow yourself ice cream, then only on the condition that it is eaten in the morning, and there is a busy and physically active day ahead, which requires a lot of energy expenditure from a person. Otherwise, it will only contribute to the active processes of fat deposition.
What are the benefits of ice cream? Eating it stimulates the production of “joy hormones” endorphins, thanks to which a person becomes calmer, sleeps better and resists stress.
