Gastroenterologist Vladimir Neronov called the decision to completely give up candy completely wrong – a positive psychological effect is associated with their use.

According to doctor Neronov, control The amount of sugar in the diet is healthy, but it is better to do without excess. The specialist spoke about the unexpected benefits of sweets. In small portions, a high-quality delicacy is quite appropriate in the diet, the expert is convinced.

For example, Neronov noted, candy can be useful as an activator of positive emotions; people often associate them with childish joy. When eating them, the level of serotonin and other neurocomponents responsible for relaxation and good mood increases.

“Refusing to eat sweets at all is wrong, but one or two sweets a day, two to three times a week for improvement mood, it’s safe, tasty and pleasant,” the doctor shared his opinion with RIAMO.
