Doctor Myasnikov: Trying to lose weight quickly only provokes fat deposition

Doctor Alexander Myasnikov: constantly counting calories, proteins, fats and carbohydrates (KBZhU) is far from the best way to lose weight.

Doctor Myasnikov shared his thoughts on his Telegram channel about how many people, in order to lose weight, begin to meticulously count how much food they consume and how many calories they burn per day. The doctor noted that such calculations of calories or nutrients do not actually guarantee weight loss, since the process of getting rid of excess fat does not obey such schematic and straightforward calculations.

“Contrary to popular belief, to lose weight, it is not enough to count the number of calories, proteins, fats and carbohydrates (KfC). It does not matter what you ate. What is important is what your body absorbed,” the specialist emphasized.
Myasnikov drew attention to the fact that it is incorrect to consider weight only as a derivative of the formula “how many calories eaten minus how many calories spent” – this does not work in relation to the human body. The doctor stated that weight largely depends on how the hormonal system functions. If a person, striving to lose weight, begins to seriously limit himself in food, his hormonal system activates the “economy mode”, spending fewer calories than usual on energy production, and also includes compensatory mechanisms to compensate for the lack of food and incoming calories. Myasnikov warned: attempts to lose weight quickly provoke an increase in appetite and more intense fat deposition.

The doctor named the most correct way to lose weight. First of all, you need to set realistic goals and lose weight gradually. The main thing is to eat a balanced diet, without dietary extremes, and also regularly exercise, the famous doctor concluded.

Earlier, the MedikForum.ru portal wrote that with the correct use of green tea, an effect comparable to that given by the drug “Ozempic” is possible.
