Therapist and nutritionist Margarita Koroleva named kidney problems among the contraindications to eating herring.

Doctor Koroleva told in an interview what health problems do not require eating herring – one of the most accessible seafood, which is a source of very healthy omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids. The doctor recalled that herring has a high salt content, and first of all, it should not be consumed by those who, for medical reasons, must limit the amount of this spice. In particular, said doctor Koroleva, herring can be harmful in case of hypertension and kidney problems.

“It can be harmful in case of hypertension, kidney disease and a tendency to swelling. Because salt will retain fluid, increase blood pressure and cause swelling,” the expert explained to Moscow 24.
The Queen confirmed that herring is a food rich in omega-3. Fatty acids of this type have a beneficial effect on the functioning of the body: they help maintain cholesterol balance, improve the condition of vascular tissue and the cardiovascular system as a whole. Therefore, in the absence of contraindications, herring is extremely useful to include in the diet.

Earlier, the MedikForum.ru portal wrote that doctor Dilyara Lebedeva called a “free way” to avoid gastrointestinal cancer associated with chewing food.
