Doctor Kazachkova said in an interview that there is no need to rejoice at involuntary weight loss in the summer – it is usually caused by fluid loss in the body, which is not always beneficial.

“During the heat, we sweat a lot, spend a lot of water. If we have not changed anything, and the weight begins to decrease, then this only means that the process of dehydration is underway, that is, water loss. “We shouldn't be happy that we are doing nothing, not changing our diet, not being physically active, and our weight is falling,” the doctor shared with Sputnik radio.
Kazachkova warned that weight loss that occurs in the summer due to water loss is not sustainable – the weight returns when it gets cooler. The doctor emphasized that it is necessary to lose weight only by changing your diet. In particular, you should avoid heavy, fatty and sweet foods and drink more water – this rule is especially easy to follow in the summer.

The specialist reminded that dehydration can occur in an organism that loses a lot of fluid, leading to blood thickening, which is dangerous due to its consequences.
