Dietician Mikhail Ginzburg advised Russians to eat champignons and shiitake mushrooms.

Nutritionist Ginzburg took part in a conversation about why eating mushrooms is healthy . He noted that mushrooms, contrary to popular belief, do not contain a lot of protein, but they provide the body with prebiotics and dietary fiber that are extremely useful for intestinal microflora.

Mikhail Ginzburg also recommended including champignons in the diet, adding that they contain substances help curb the aging process.

“I recommend eating mushrooms such as champignons and shiitake. Recent studies have shown that they contain glycosides that have anti-inflammatory properties and can inhibit the aging process,” the expert shared with Vechernaya Moskva.
At the same time, Ginzburg called mushrooms an unsuitable product for consumption every day, since they are quite difficult to digest. Salted and pickled mushrooms are not suitable for the diet of older people, and children and pregnant women should not eat any mushrooms. In addition, they are strictly contraindicated for pancreatitis or gastritis.

Earlier, the MedikForum.ru portal wrote that drinking kefir and fermented baked milk helps prevent diabetes.
