Nutritionist Evgeniy Arzamastsev: the number of eggs that a person is allowed to eat depends on the characteristics of his health.

Nutritionist Arzamastsev said in an interview “Moscow 24” that the number of eggs allowed for consumption depends on the person’s state of health.

“If a person is young and physically active, then eggs can be eaten every day, one or two a day,” the specialist clarified.
Eggs in such quantities are contraindicated for those who are overweight. Arzamastsev recalled that this product is distinguished by a fairly high calorie content.

“If you eat eggs daily in large quantities, then a person can gain even more extra pounds.”
If you are overweight, the doctor advised limiting yourself to one or two eggs two or three times a week.

Arzamastsev added that eggs, contrary to numerous claims, are completely permitted for atherosclerosis. People with this problem should not just eat them every day:

“Two or three times a week, one or two eggs can be eaten absolutely without problems.”
The doctor stated that chicken eggs provide the human body with only protein, but also such important vitamins for maintaining immunity as vitamin A, vitamin D and B vitamins.

Earlier, the MedikForum.ru portal wrote that gastroenterologist Vladimir Neronov advised Russians not to completely give up sweets .
