Rehabilitation doctor Sergei Agapkin: by regularly drinking black tea, the risk of diabetes can be reduced by 20 percent.

Doctor Agapkin informed how useful the habit of drinking tea can be. In particular, he advised Russians to regularly drink black tea to protect against diabetes. According to the doctor, the ability of this drink to have a positive effect on blood sugar levels and even reduce it has been confirmed in studies. According to scientists, this effect inherent in black tea is closely related to the fermentation of tea tree leaves. It is when they become fermented that they turn into black tea. At the same time, tea leaves increase the level of substances such as flavonoids, which effectively help the immune system suppress inflammatory processes. When the pancreas becomes better protected from inflammation, a person’s risk of developing diabetes is reduced.

“Regular consumption of black tea will reduce the risk of developing such a dangerous endocrine disease as diabetes by 20 percent,” shared doctor Sergei Agapkin.
The specialist added that tea is only beneficial when consumed without sugar.

Earlier, the portal MedikForum.ru wrote about which drinks have the most significant effect on the appearance of excess fat.
