Doctor Angela Tolmasova: to lose weight, you should avoid foods and drinks low in healthy nutrients and high in sugar, salt and unhealthy fats.
Endocrinologist Tolmasova said that a slim figure is spoiled primarily by foods that contain significant doses of carbohydrates and fats, additionally “enriched” with the addition of sugar and salt. When giving up such foods, people who do not have serious endocrine pathologies usually lose weight (in addition, giving up such foods improves many health indicators).
“It is necessary to reduce the consumption of these products, or even better, replace them with more healthy fruits, vegetables, greens, nuts and seeds, low-fat sources of protein, whole grain products,” the specialist shared with Gazeta.Ru.
Doctor Tolmasova named foods that, if avoided, will make you lose weight:
- Processed meat products in the form of bacon, sausages and sausages;
- A variety of sweet sodas;
- White bread;
- Instant foods (convenience foods) and fast food (especially fried foods);
- Alcohol.
The doctor emphasized that a diet consisting of natural, healthy foods effectively provides people who are not overeat, the correct balance of energy, thanks to which a normal weight is maintained without gaining excess fat mass.
