Vladislav Vorobyovsky, an osteopathic doctor, shares tips on how to determine the cause of pain in the joints and how to effectively treat this condition.

Joint health largely depends on the balance between tension and compression. Disruption of this balance can lead to various diseases and joint wear.

Joints need regular movement to ensure the regeneration of synovial fluid, which is key to their health. However, excessive activity or lack of movement can cause problems.

Proper nutrition also plays an important role: excess animal protein can negatively affect the condition of the joints, so it is important to monitor your diet and consult a doctor if necessary.

“A special diet for rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and arthrosis (osteoarthritis) can help improve joint condition and overall health,” says Andreeva.
Here are some doctor’s recommendations:

For rheumatoid arthritis (RA):

  • Vegetarian or Mediterranean diet:Research shows that these diets, rich in fruits, vegetables, grains, nuts and healthy fats, can help reduce inflammation and symptoms of RA.
  • Omega-3 fatty acids acids:Foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids, such as salmon, sardines, flaxseeds and nuts, can help reduce inflammation.
  • Antioxidants:Include foods rich in antioxidants in your diet, such as fruits (berries, citrus fruits), vegetables (spinach, kale, red peppers), and green tea to help protect joints from damage.
  • Avoid rich foods fats and trans fats:Limit your intake of foods high in saturated fat, such as fatty meats and dairy products, and foods containing trans fats, such as cookies, cakes and fast food.

For arthrosis (osteoarthritis):
