Doctor Sergei Vyalov said that bad habits “kill” the pancreas, promoting the development of inflammation and dangerous pathologies.

Doctor Vyalov advised Russians not to let their bodies develop serious problems with the pancreas. The doctor stated that in many cases her health is disrupted by the bad habits of the people themselves. In particular, the condition of the organ is negatively affected by overeating, especially the abuse of carbohydrate and fatty foods, and alcohol.

Doctor Vyalov stated that alcohol and fatty foods affect the appearance of dangerous acute pancreatitis – inflammation of the pancreas. Alcoholic drinks or their breakdown product aldehyde are toxic to pancreatic cells, causing early and inadequate activation of pancreatic enzymes. In turn, fatty foods increase the load on this organ, forcing it to work harder.

In addition, poor nutrition affects the appearance of gallstones – this is another factor that worsens the condition of the pancreas.
