Oncourologist, surgeon Mark Gadzian advises men not to ignore the phenomenon of night trips to the toilet, especially if they become more frequent.

Doctor Gadzian recalled that for men after 40 years of age, the risk of exposure to two dangerous diseases increases: prostate adenoma, as well as cancer of this organ. This risk becomes even more significant when men reach 45 years of age. Then, with age, it only increases.

“There is evidence that at 80-90 years old, 80% of men have prostate adenoma, and 90% have cancer (it may be clinically insignificant),” shared medic in his Telegram.
Gadzian added that prostate adenoma and prostate cancer can be present simultaneously. In many cases, prostate adenoma precedes the appearance of a malignant tumor.

“At first one disease appears, and after some time specialists find oncology.”
The doctor emphasized that in adulthood it is especially important for men to monitor the functioning of the body in order to notice changes occurring in a timely manner. In particular, Gadzian called night trips to the toilet in men after 40 years of age an alarming symptom.

“An alarming symptom is if a person often gets up at night, wakes up, feeling the urge to go to the toilet.”
The doctor named difficulties that arise when emptying the bladder as another alarming symptom for men. If these signs appear, it is necessary to contact a specialist, find out the cause, and perform the necessary tests.

“Even if there are no complaints, donate blood every year for PSA, this is the main marker of early diagnosis of prostate cancer,” shared the oncourologist.
Earlier, the portal MedikForum.ru wrote that hormonal changes in women after 50 years can contribute to the growth of the abdomen and weight.
