'Changes When Visiting the Toilet': Doctors Point Out Signs of Pancreatic Cancer

problems with the pancreas
Foreign doctors from the Pancreatic Cancer Action organization advised paying attention to changes in a number of habits, including those related to visiting the toilet.

Speaking about the development of pancreatic cancer, experts note that there are a number of signs that should not be ignored – for example, one of them they call not quite ordinary fatigue. In particular, malignant disease is characterized by constant fatigue (it is felt even despite normal sleep or rest), or fatigue that manifests itself in attacks in the form of a sudden loss of strength.

Another possible sign of pancreatic cancer is pain in the abdomen or back, which is initially felt by a person more as some discomfort. However, over time, the pain becomes more intense.

“In connection with abdominal pain, it is necessary to pay attention to the changes that occur when visiting the toilet: specifically, the appearance of steatorrhea (fatty stool that is difficult to wash off with water). You should also be wary when a person begins to go to the toilet more often, while the stool becomes colorless, acquires a sharper and more unpleasant odor,” aif.ru reported, referring to the recommendations of Pancreatic Cancer Action.
Pointing out the signs of pancreatic cancer, the organization's doctors advise seeking medical advice for any changes in the digestive system, because the gland is an important part of this system. Poor digestion of food, fat that is not properly absorbed, loss of appetite, aversion to certain foods, poor health and nausea after eating – all this can signal the occurrence of tumors.

In addition, with problems with the pancreas, urine begins to darken significantly, and the skin and whites of the eyes acquire a yellowish tint.

Earlier, the MedikForum.ru portal wrote that lower back pain can be a sign of inflammation of the pancreas.
