Polyp removed from Joe Biden

Polyp removed from Joe Biden
US President Joseph Biden underwent a colonoscopy procedure. Doctors removed a benign polyp, which has the potential to become malignant over time.

White House officials on Wednesday announced that a benign polyp had been removed from US leader Joe Biden's body during a routine colonoscopy last week. The polyp was a tubular adenoma – slowly growing in the body but with the potential to become malignant over time, White House physician Kevin O'Connor said. According to him, no further action on this issue is yet to be taken.

Dr. O'Connor calls 79-year-old Biden healthy and fit, able to perform his professional duties. This was confirmed by a medical examination. Doctors say Biden is healthy enough to serve as president and supreme commander in charge of the planet's strongest military.

The polyp removed from Joe Biden's body is very similar to the neoplasm that was already excised from the politician in 2008. Doctors note that although Biden is prone to the appearance of intestinal polyps, no malignant neoplasms of the intestine have been identified in him. It is recommended that Biden go through another colonoscopy in the next 7-10 years. The other day, the American president announced his desire to run for the presidency of the United States again in 2024, when he will already be 82 years old.
