Experts from the World Health Organization reported the first case of human infection with the avian influenza A(H5N2) virus in Mexico. The patient died.

A resident of the state of Mexico was infected; he was 59 years old. This is the first laboratory-confirmed case of human infection with the influenza A(H5N2) virus registered worldwide, WHO emphasized.

The man had no contact with poultry or other animals. His relatives spoke about this.

What is bird flu?

Possible symptoms:
