Flaxseed jelly has a powerful healing effect, said toxicologist and professor Mikhail Kutushov. It restores the mucous membranes of the gastrointestinal tract: it envelops them and relieves inflammation.
Kutushov listed the health benefits of jelly:
- It has a positive effect on women's hormonal health, preventing the development of tumors.
- It promotes daily bowel movements.
- It removes swelling by removing excess fluid from tissues.
- It promotes weight loss.
- It improves memory and concentration.
- Strengthens the walls of blood vessels in the brain (thanks to acids, vitamins and phytohormones).
— Because of the choleretic effect, jelly should be consumed with caution by people with gallstone disease. Flax seeds should not be consumed by women with endometritis, uterine fibroids and polycystic ovary disease, — the specialist warned in his blog.
The doctor gave a recipe for flaxseed jelly: pour 2-3 tablespoons of flax seeds with a liter of hot water and wait until it boils. When foam appears, remove the pan from the stove. Then strain through a sieve and cool.
Drink the jelly 2-3 times a day in portions up to 100 ml at a time 1.5-2 hours after eating. The course of treatment is up to 2 weeks.
