The head of the Ministry of Health urged to treat as before the pandemic
Russian Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko believes that the regions should fully restore the volume of medical care provided, which was reduced due to the onset of the coronavirus pandemic. Now the incidence of COVID-19 in the Russian regions is minimal, and nothing prevents doctors from fully helping patients with all pathologies.

Since March 2020, a significant number of clinics and hospitals in Russia have been transferred to provide targeted medical care to patients with coronavirus infection. Many preventive examinations and even elective surgeries were cancelled. Subsequently, Moscow and other regions again returned to the provision of planned medical care, and then limited it due to new waves of coronavirus.

This includes orthopedic services and elective cardiac surgeries that have been put off for a long time. Already, the Ministry of Health is increasing the volume of high-tech cardiology surgeries, for which demand is constantly growing in Russia.
