Surgeon-urologist, andrologist, oncourologist, candidate of medical sciences Mark Gadziyan said that electronic cigarettes cannot be considered safe and have the same effect on erection as regular cigarettes.– All this affects the potency, worsening the erection, the state of which is completely dependent on the work of blood vessels. Under the influence of nicotine, blood vessels constrict, chronic vasospasm is formed, the number of healthy capillaries decreases, and then the deterioration of erectile function, – the physician wrote in his blog.

According to doctors, constant exposure to nicotine leads to a decrease in the production of testosterone, which controls a man's ability to have sexual intercourse. Almost 80 percent of cases of erectile dysfunction occur as a complication of vascular disease.

Gadziyan listed signs of testosterone decline in men. If there are at least three – a reason to see a doctor.
