Stress and chronic diseases

Stress and chronic diseases
Now most are in a state of nervous tension and stress. The frantic rhythm of life, world events, sanctions, currency fluctuations, problems at work and in the family – all this makes people feel insecure, anxiety and irritability increase, all this leads to nervous tension and stress. I see it all in my patients. People who have not experienced high blood pressure before complain that they have problems. Not everyone knows that in 95% of cases, hypertension occurs due to problems with the blood supply to the brain and malnutrition of the vascular center. I have identified this relationship and clinically proven. Now, in my clinic, more than 90,000 people have been treated and cured of hypertension, type 2 diabetes and other chronic diseases. What is the link between stress and hypertension, you ask.

Well, let's start the sequence. There is a biological atavism in our body – in times of danger (and stress is perceived by the body as a danger), any animal involuntarily tightens, shortens its neck. Because the attacking predator tends to cling to the throat, this is the easiest way to kill by biting the arteries. Severe stress is a sharp spasm of the cervical muscles. I note that from the point of view of anatomy, the neck is the most complex section, it has many nerve centers, the most complex muscle corset. There is no harder muscle than in the neck. Also, the speech apparatus, the muscles that control it, the root of the tongue are, anatomically, in the neck. There is also the cervical spinal cord, nerve centers, and that's not all. And if a person has already begun to progress osteochondrosis, the next problem begins – a spasm causes a violation of the blood supply to the ligaments. And when the spasm slowly releases, the load transfers from spasmodic muscles to degraded ligaments, which can no longer hold the vertebrae, as before, and instability of the vertebrae occurs.

As a result of starvation of the brain, the hypothalamus, noting a chronic lack of oxygen and nutrients, begins to fight this condition. It causes the heart to contract harder and the kidneys to retain fluid, all in order to increase pressure and somehow push blood through the pinched vessels of the neck. However, the problem of lack of oxygen in the brain remains, and the next step is the hypothalamus sends a signal to the pancreas to change the balance of hormones. The logic of the hypothalamus is simple: if there is not enough energy in the form of oxygen, you need to switch to another source of energy. The transition to a new way of obtaining energy occurs gradually, most people do not notice it. At the initial stage of the development of diabetes, there is a decrease in insulin, an increase in glucagon and a change in eating behavior: a person “goes” to search for and consume easily digestible energy. This energy is contained in our favorite bakery products, various sweets. A person begins to uncontrollably consume a huge amount of carbohydrates. As a result, overweight is formed and type 2 diabetes develops. It has also been proven that oncology is formed with oxygen deficiency and excess glucose.

The fact is that powerful vertebral arteries that feed the brain stem pass through the cervical region, and only nerves pass through all other vertebrae. The brain stem is a vital area. For example, if this zone is affected during a stroke, death is inevitable. In addition to the problems described above, due to oxygen starvation of the brain, a person develops a depressed state, panic attacks, and depression. Sleep is also disturbed, because. the sleep center, located in the brainstem, is undernourished. Now many patients come to me who did not have any problems with hypertension, headaches, but under the influence of stress, problems interfere with a full life. In addition to worsening the quality of life, it is also the risk of complications from the course of hypertension in the form of a stroke or heart attack. This is the main cause of death in the world. For example, already about 1.28 billion adults suffer from hypertension, and complications of hypertension –cardiovascular diseases, 17.9 million people die a year.

What to do for those who have already faced the consequences of stress. I recommend finding my neck gymnastics on the Internet. It is absolutely free and has proven to be effective. It must be done regularly, twice a day, following my instructions. I also recommend doing self-massage of the neck, kneading the back of the neck with your hands, in a circular motion. Rubbing the back of the neck with ice helps well. To do this, freeze water in a plastic cup in advance and wipe your neck for about a minute.

Walking has a huge healing effect. This is a powerful remedy, not only tested by life, but also confirmed by the latest scientific data. The results of studies by major scientific organizations show that 26 diseases can be cured with walking, including cardiovascular diseases (such as hypertension, atherosclerosis, cardiac failure, coronary heart disease, acquired heart disease), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, mental disorders , diseases of the musculoskeletal system. Walking is an excellent medicine to fight depression, panic attacks. To get rid of the listed ailments, I recommend doing healthy walking every day at a speed of 5-6 kilometers per hour, that is, something in between race walking and a regular walking step. It is necessary to walk, depending on the state of health, from 3 to 8 kilometers a day.

Such an amazing effect from walking is achieved by the fact that in the process of walking, the so-called BDNF (brain-derived neurotrophic factor) is released – the neurotrophic factor of the brain, or the brain nutrition factor. It starts to stand out with a long walk. BDNF affects the hippocampus, the part of the brain that contains brain stem cells. And thanks to these cells, under the influence of BDNF, the brain begins to renew itself. BDNF is a specific peptide and its long molecule activates stem cells. Science confirms that as a result of regular walking, the hippocampus increases in volume. Neurotrophic factor, which is produced when walking, improves the functioning of all parts of the brain and the regulation of all body functions: improves blood supply to the bone marrow; muscles produce the hormone irisin, which is also involved in the renewal of the body; the work of capillaries and the heart improves, the respiratory function is activated.

I also have another tool for dealing with depression and panic attacks, the effectiveness of which has been confirmed by many of my patients. These are sessions of psychodynamic walking: let's say a person walks in headphones (or he can watch a video on a treadmill), and I set him a psychological mood. I have already said that the hippocampus is very important for brain renewal. It enters the limbic system of the brain, which is the source of our emotions. And the trick is that at the moment of walking people also receive a psychotherapeutic effect, because I give instructions on how to set themselves up, how to breathe correctly, what mental images to represent. Thus, through the limbic system, I enhance the effect of the release of neurotrophic factor. It is then that a colossal effect can be achieved in general.

Even the ancient Roman physician, physiologist and philosopher Claudius Galen, the first sports doctor in history and the founder of medical gymnastics, said: “Thousands and thousands of times I restored the health of my patients through physical exercises.” I think many people remember that in the Soviet Union there was a radio program “Morning Gymnastics”, when, having turned on the receiver at the appointed time, the people performed physical exercises together to the music. My dream is to revive this program so that every morning, at least for 5 minutes, I can teach people gymnastics. So I got up, brushed my teeth – and for the exercises. This is one of the most important steps in the prevention of chronic diseases!
