Russians are increasingly being sent to work remotely
A survey by the SuperJob.ru portal showed that in August the number of companies transferring their employees to remote work increased in our country. It reached 14% of the total, up 3% from June figures.

Due to a significant increase in the incidence of COVID-19 in our country, the number of employees working remotely has increased. Already 14% of companies from Russia practice remote work, and it should be noted that we are talking about those organizations where it was not common before the pandemic. That is, employees are sent to work from home precisely because there is now an increased threat of cross-contamination.

About a thousand employees of the personnel departments of various Russian companies took part in the survey, which was conducted for three weeks almost throughout August. It turned out that the maximum number of remote employees was registered in Moscow (17%), as well as in St. Petersburg (13%). The average figure in Russia now reaches 12%. Also increased compared to June, the number of companies where more than half of the full-time employees are already working remotely, reaching 15%.
