Therapist, surgeon, Mohamed Ali Vuada told how to protect yourself from coronavirus infection. The incidence of Covid over the past week has increased in our country by more than 30%.

The doctor advises washing your hands more often, eating right and not forgetting about quality sleep – this will support the immune system during the cold season.

“To maintain the functioning of the immune system, quality rest and sleep, proper nutrition are necessary,” the specialist noted.

Also, according to him, it is important not to rub your eyes or touch the mucous membranes. At the first signs of illness, it is recommended to consult a doctor, he emphasized. Self-medication can cause real harm.

It was previously reported that a new wave of coronavirus could be caused by the FLiRT strain. 

Immunologist Vladimir Bolibok called the main symptoms of FLiRT:

  • temperature,

  • nasal congestion, 
  • runny nose.

General symptoms of COVID-19:

  • Fever, chills.
  • Cough (dry or productive).
  • Shortness of breath, difficulty breathing.
  • Fatigue.
  • Muscle pain.

  • Sore throat.
  • Runny nose.
  • Nausea or vomiting.
  • Diarrhea.
