Russian Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko stressed that Russia maintains a sufficient stock of vaccines against coronavirus infection, and citizens should continue to be vaccinated and revaccinated.

As previously reported, back in November last year, Russian pharmaceutical companies stopped producing coronavirus vaccines due to overstocking. By that time, the Russians had lost interest in vaccination, the number of visits to specialized stationary and mobile vaccination points had sharply decreased, and the authorities had removed the requirements for mandatory vaccinations for representatives of a number of professions.

By that time, the industry was producing several million vaccines every month, and there was simply nowhere to sell them, so the drugs were sent to warehouses. Probably, Mikhail Murashko had them in mind when he told reporters that there were enough vaccinations in Russia.

There is hope: the head of the Ministry of Health spoke about the trials of a vaccine against coronavirus against previous versions of the coronavirus.
