More than half of Russians have been vaccinated against coronavirus
According to the Russian Ministry of Health, more than 60% of adult Russians have been vaccinated against coronavirus. True, the level of herd immunity in our country is still around 7%.

Deputy Minister of Health of Russia Yevgeny Kamkin noted that more than 60% of the population in our country have been vaccinated against coronavirus. Even to achieve herd immunity, this is not enough, since such a figure should reach 80% of the population eligible for vaccination. But this significant figure, in fact, is not a reason for pride.

45 million Russians vaccinated against coronavirus

The fact is that after vaccination, the level of adequate protection is maintained for no more than 6 months, after which repeated vaccinations are required. And if this does not happen, then the person is again considered unprotected. That is why, according to the operational headquarters, the level of collective immunity in our country is only about 7%. Recall that for adequate protection against new waves of coronavirus, this figure needs to be more than 80%.

At the same time, millions of unclaimed vaccines have accumulated in warehouses in Russia, which are constantly extending their expiration dates.
